Background
With the rapid increase in podcast listeners across the globe it was a priority for Amazon Music to expand their offering and reach within this audience.
Part of this meant helping them launch a dedicated social platform for podcasts — PlayMorePods — but outside of clips from existing shows, what would we post there?
Idea: Bars & nuggets
An Amazon Music exclusive series hosted by Bimma Williams featuring rich conversations with a wide range of guests, documenting both the wins, and challenges of their careers to date.
Each episode featured a full-length conversation in front of a live intimate audience of super-fans creating not only a highly engaging exclusive show on the Amazon Music platform, but a deep bank of clip-able moments for sharing on social.
